The SHHS Global Youth Service Day service project - TBirds Take on Hunger was a success! 40 volunteers bagged food and snack packs to give to families and students in the community. Shout out to these high school students for spending a Saturday helping others.

Yesterday the BOE recognized the Debate team for participating and Scholars Bowl for receiving 4th place at state. They recognized students for placing 1st at the WU Leadership Challenge and congratulated students for earning their Seal of Biliteracy. Our students make us proud!





Congratulations to Logan Balsmeier for representing SHMS at the National Geographic State Geography Bee in Abilene, Kansas! Logan is the third student to qualify to attend from Shawnee Heights in twelve years. Way to go Logan!
