Medication Pick Up
BES Parents: If your student brought medications to school they must be picked up by the parent. Parents can do this anytime in the next 2 days. We do not send medications home with the students per USD 450 policy .

Our yearbooks have arrived and are being distributed this week. If you did not order a yearbook for your child, I do have a few available for purchase for $15 each. To purchase a yearbook please call Mrs. Tanya, in the office at 785-861-1300. It will be first come, first serve and I can accept payment over the phone with a credit/debit card. I cannot hold yearbooks due to demand. Once the book has been purchased, I will get the book to your child’s teacher.

Hello Elementary Orchestra Students and Families!
This is just a reminder that our orchestra concert is TOMORROW, May 17th at 6:15!
The concert will take place in the high school auditorium. Students should arrive by 5:45. We also task that your students dress nicely (avoid jeans, shorts, t-shirts, graphic T’s, etc.).
Also, please remind all students who play violin or viola to bring their instrument to school with them TOMORROW (Tuesday) since we will bus them to the high school for our final rehearsal. They must also remember their music since they will be sitting with different people.
Please let me know if you have any questions! We look forward to seeing you and presenting all of the student’s hard work.

BES Summer Send Off Book Fair
Our wonderful Summer Send Off staff members could really use some volunteers for the Summer Send Off Book Fair. This is a very fun event where Mrs. Baker, Mrs. Jen Haverkamp and Mrs. Boyer organize fun reading related activities for all students to enjoy. Volunteers will help students select their free gift book, along with facilitating summer Send off activities and assist with Book Fair duties, such as restocking shelves and checking out purchases.
